SUMMARY:The Human Skills AI Can’t Replace: Adaptability
DESCRIPTION:In our final session\, we will explore adaptability\, a uniquely human capacity grounded in our curiosity to explore new ideas\, our resilience in the face of challenges\, and our perseverance to keep moving forward when progress feels uncertain. While AI can quickly generate information\, suggest connections\, and support problem-solving\, it does not experience motivation\, setbacks\, or the determination required to grow through change. It is our adaptability that gives AI its value\, allowing us to use it as a tool while the drive to question\, recover\, and persist remains a distinctly human strength.

SUMMARY:Credit for Prior Learning Webpage & Best Practices: Workshop I
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Center for Innovation\, Teaching\, and Learning\, the department of Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) is excited to announce and provide a series of workshops and trainings for the campus focusing on Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) and the campuses new CPL webpage. CPL is meant to be an equitable and accessible pathway to the college\, specifically for adult and non-tradition learners. CPL recognizes and values the full range of documented learning experiences our students bring with them. Refined transparency and consistency with our CPL processes makes it easier for students to understand their options at the college and demonstrate what they already know for an opportunity to receive credit in ways that support timely equitable progress toward their personal\, academic\, and career goals.  \nWho Should Attend: Division Chairs\, Advisors\, full-time faculty\, student-facing staff and administrators (advising\, admissions\, financial aid). \nFor those who cannot attend\, a recording will be shared for registrants after the event.
