ASAP Program at C-CGG

Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) helps you stay on track toward your associate degree with the guidance, financial support, and community you need to succeed.
Academic Support:
- Regular meetings with an ASAP program advisement specialist
- Tutoring support
- ASAP special events
- Career development workshops
Financial Support:
- All ASAP students in receipt of at least $1 in federal or NYS grant aid will receive the following financial support:
- a Cost of Attendance award (up to $200/semester)
- textbook assistance ($150/semester)
- a monthly stipend ($200/semester)
New, transfer, returning, and continuing students who meet the criteria below are eligible to apply for the ASAP program for the Fall 2026 semester.
- Must be eligible for in-state tuition
- Must apply for both federal (FAFSA) and state (TAP) financial aid
- Note: Students from mixed-status families are now eligible to apply for NYS financial aid without completing the FAFSA at https://www.hesc.ny.gov/altpath. Students may also reach out to ASAP|ACE staff to learn more about their options to apply for NYS aid.
- Receive at least $1 of federal Pell or NYS grant aid (TAP or Excelsior)
- Must enroll full-time (12 or more credit hours) each semester
- Must not have acquired more than 21 college credits (excluding credits earned while in high school)
- Must enroll in one of the degree programs at C-GCC.
To continue your enrollment in the program, ASAP students must:
- maintain full-time status throughout the entire semester (12 or more credit hours) for each semester
- apply for federal and state financial aid each year (or submit an Affidavit of Tuition Payment form)
