The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The college’s automotive technology curriculum is accredited by (ASE) the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation as M.A.S.T. Programs (Master Automotive Service training).

The college is authorized to award the degrees of Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, and Associate in Occupational Studies, as well as certificates, as established by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
