Dr. Victoria L. Walsh was appointed the seventh president of Columbia-Greene Community College on July 2025, following her service as the college’s provost and senior vice president of academic and student affairs. She is a seasoned higher education leader known for her mission-inspired vision and ability to drive innovation and institutional growth.

As provost, Dr. Walsh oversaw academic programs, enrollment, student services, and institutional effectiveness, and led the development of C-GCC’s Institutional Sustainability Plan. Her efforts have strengthened academic offerings, expanded workforce development pathways, and enhanced support for adult learners, ensuring C-GCC continues to serve as a vital resource for Columbia and Greene counties.

She is an active peer evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and has held multiple executive leadership roles in higher education. Dr. Walsh earned her Ed.D. from Maryville University and multiple degrees from the University of Durham, UK.

With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and student success, Dr. Walsh is committed to building a stronger, more vibrant future for C-GCC and the communities it serves.
