Gregg’s life at C-GCC started as a student in 1987 and has continued as a professor since 1997. Students enjoy his entertaining teaching style, insights into the human condition, and his forthright tell-it-like-it-is nature. Off campus, Gregg serves as Ghent Town Historian, working to bring the past alive for the people of Ghent. During the summer, he bicycles, runs, and volunteers time maintaining the rail trail near his home. He currently lives with wife Diane and cat Simon in Kinderhook.

When I teach Eugene O’Neill, I bring some of his swimming pool water to class. I bottled some at his California home.
