All users have 30 days to borrow books and audiobooks from the circulating collection. During holidays and other times when the college is closed, the loan period is extended. Users may take out 25 books; however only 3 books per subject. Other limitations include: DVDs: 7 day loan, 2 per checkout. Materials in the Reserves Collection are loaned to students, faculty and college employees only and the loan periods vary.
Library materials can be returned to the Circulation Desk, the book return slot inside the Main Campus Building between the Library and Foundation Office, or to the book drop at the Main Campus entrance. Do not place CDs or DVDs in the book drop. Patrons are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card.

If mailing materials, the library recommends insuring the package to cover any damage or loss resulting from shipping.
Library materials can be renewed in person at the Circulation Desk, by phone or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org C-GCC students, faculty, and staff may renew online in PRIMO using college email address and password. Some renewal restrictions may apply.
When items are checked out, each patron is notified of the due date by the date slip that is placed in all loaned items. Please make sure items are returned on time. Be aware that students will be placed on Academic/Financial Hold when an item is 30 days overdue. A hold will prevent you from getting grades, registering for classes, and borrowing from this Library. The Library system blocks patron accounts when items are overdue for more than 30 days.

Lost Library Materials
Borrowers are responsible for all fees for lost or damaged materials accrued on their Library account. The borrower of lost or damaged material(s) will be charged the replacement cost of the item, plus a $10.00 processing fee. Remember, that is per item! We do not accept replacement copies.
If there is a book, audiobook or DVD you are waiting for but someone has it out, let us know and we can place you in a holds queue. We will notify you when the item comes in. This will also prevent the item from being renewed.
