Office of Career Success

Where do I go for information about careers?

First, schedule a meeting with your Academic Advisor, who can help with choosing a major and a career path, including one-on-one  sessions that provide counseling and resources designed to clarify and meet your goals. Then, the Office of Career Success can help with more detailed information about local career options, additional self-assessment and career planning tools, job shadows, and internships. Individual sessions and group workshops are offered throughout the semesters and during the January break.

What if I need help with a résumé or interview coaching?

The Office of Career Success provides individual coaching on a wide variety of career topics and job search skills, including assistance regarding a career change. Students can e-mail intern.jobs@sunycgcc.edu to set up an appointment.
