Scholarships
Thanks to generous donors throughout the community, Columbia-Greene Community College Foundation has granted nearly 2,500 scholarships to students and over $3.5 million dollars to C-GCC students, collegiate programs, and the College.
While some scholarships have criteria that focus on particular types of students and programs of study, there is scholarship funding available for a wide range of Columbia-Greene students, including:
- First-time Students
- Continuing Students
- Full-time Students
- Part-time Students*
- Those Just Trying a Class or Two (Non-Matriculated)
- Transfer Students
- Returning Students
Scholarships are awarded to students who, at a minimum, maintain good academic standing.
*Awards will be pro-rated to reflect part-time tuition and fees.
Most of the scholarship aid available through Columbia-Greene Community College is administered through the Financial Aid office and requires no further action from a student other than completing the FAFSA.
A limited number of scholarships are administered through the Columbia-Greene Community College Foundation. Access to these scholarship applications will be sent to students’ C-GCC email addresses before the beginning of each semester. Award decisions are made shortly after the Fall and Spring semesters start.
Links to individual scholarship applications are sent to your C-GCC email address. If you need a copy of the email sent to you, please contact foundation@sunycgcc.edu
