The Office of Human Resources is seeking a full-time, Senior Director of Accounting who will report directly to the Vice President for Administration/Chief Financial Officer. The Senior Director will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and analyses of the College and other related entities.
The Senior Director of Accounting will provide accounting and financial reporting expertise to the College and will ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and college regulations and policies with a commitment to best practice and the highest ethical standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing and recording the College’s financial activities in the general ledger and related journals, including financial reports.
- Responsible for annual budget build with CFO.
- Proposes and monitors accounting procedures and systems of internal accounting control.
- Monitors all cash activity/transactions, including AP activity, via a daily cash book and performs month end bank reconciliations, and act as point of contact with the banks.
- Prepares for the preparation of the College’s monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Manages the annual financial audit
- Assist CFO with long- and short-term budget planning and serves as the primary liaison for all financial audits performed by internal or external entities.
- Assures protection for the assets of the College through internal control procedures.
- Supervises Accounting Team consisting of Accounts Payable/Purchasing, Director of Accounting for Auxiliary Servies, and Payroll.
- Works with appropriate levels of management to recommend corrective action plans to ensure achievement of budget, and support cost effective business and internal control processes.
- Acts as administrator of the Banner Finance General Ledger module, including the maintenance of chart of accounts, granting security access to users, assisting users with self-service functions, and resolving technical problems.
- Prepares various financial reports and schedules, including the monthly financial report to the Board of Trustees, SUNY Reporting, and IPEDS directed by CFO.
- Serves on various College committees and/or external committees.
- Represents the VP of Administration and Finance/CFO in their absences, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA (and/or CPA); minimum five years progressively responsible experience.
- Computer proficiency necessary and a high competency level with Excel and other MS Suite are essential.
- Experience with nonprofit or public higher education
- Experience with Ellucian/Banner
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to manage projects independently as well as contribute to team initiatives.

Reporting to the Vice President of Student Success, the Reconnect Enrollment Navigator serves as a proactive guide and advocate for adult learners (ages 25–55) returning to college through the SUNY Reconnect initiative. The Navigator provides individualized support to prospective and returning students by helping them explore academic programs, complete admissions and financial aid processes, and successfully transition back into higher education. This position plays a critical role in removing barriers, connecting students to resources, and ensuring a smooth re-entry to college.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outreach to adult learners who have earned some college credits but have not completed a degree.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SUNY Reconnect students from inquiry through enrollment.
- Conduct virtual or in-person onboarding sessions to review degree pathways, credit for prior learning, transfer credit, and available support services.
- Assist students with admissions, placement, registration, and financial aid applications (FAFSA, TAP, scholarships).
- Connect students to financial literacy and other campus resources as needed.
- Coordinate with academic advisors, faculty, and student services to support a smooth transition and first-year success.
- Track student progress from inquiry through the first year, providing consistent follow-up and intervention as needed.
- Identify barriers to persistence (e.g., childcare, transportation, housing, food insecurity) and coordinate solutions with campus and community partners.
- Maintain accurate records in student information and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with academic departments, admissions, financial aid, and student services to streamline processes for adult learners.
- Advocate for adult learners by identifying and elevating systemic barriers to college leadership.

Qualifications
Required:

Work Environment & Hours

The Opportunity
The Senior Technical Support Specialist for IT is a full-time role employed through SUNY ITEC and based at Columbia-Greene Community College. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this position provides advanced technical support, maintains IT systems, and assists users across campus.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide technical support as needed for campus users, infrastructure and equipment
- Carry out technical and physical tasks involving configuration and distribution of computers
- Manage help desk and department work through the campus ticket system

The Opportunity
The Associate Registrar is responsible for independently managing the day-to-day operations of the Office of Records and Registration window. The incumbent serves as the primary administrator for the DegreeWorks platform and maintains records in conjunction with Academic Affairs, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Development, and other administrative offices within the campus community, applying relevant policies. The Office of Records and Registration provides services to a diverse student population who are enrolled in in-person and online coursework. This position serves as the primary records liaison for both the non-matriculated, prison education, and veteran student populations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deputize for the Registrar in their absence.
- Supervise the Technical Assistant for Records and Registration.
- Under the general supervision of the Registrar, supervises the day-to-day operations of the Office of Recording and Registration window.
- Provide support to students, faculty, alumni, and the wider community at the registration window in collaboration with the Technical Assistant for Records and Registration.
- Manages staffing of the Records and Registration window and virtual office hours ensuring day and evening accessibility for students.
- Oversees and manages student leaders employed within the Office of Records and Registration providing them with customer service training and opportunities for professional development.
- Processes change of curriculum, incomplete grades, corrects transcript notations, and applies student attributes to records in collaboration with the Registrar.
- Assists with end-of-semester processing and coordinates associated communications to faculty, staff, and students.
- Coordinates review of degree applications, awarding of degrees, and distribution of diplomas.
- Advises the Registrar on policy and process development to improve the student experience.
- Serves as the College’s DegreeWorks administrator and chairs the Degree Works Working Group

- Maintains and updates course equivalency catalogs between CGCC and other colleges and universities.
- Develops and maintains Credit for Prior Learning catalogs in coordination with departments heads and Academic affairs personnel.
- Develops and updates student educational plans in line with curricular developments and Guided Pathways
- Conducts regular audits of relevant websites and student access points related to the Office of Records and Registration to ensure all platforms are accessible and information is current.
- Serves as a bridge between Academic Affairs and the Office of Records and Registration.
- Coordinates approved curriculum changes within DegreeWorks and facilitates appropriate testing.
- Assists the Registrar in academic calendar creation and maintenance.
- Serves as the College’s Veteran Students Certifying Official.
- Certifies student veteran documentation and liaises with the Department of Veteran Affairs when appropriate.
- Leads reporting efforts, including re-approval documentation and applicable surveys in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain a transfer equivalency and credit for prior learning databases for military personnel.
- Serves as the liaison between the Office of Records and Registration and the partner correctional facilities in collaboration with the Departments of Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs.
- Maintains and preserves student academic records in accordance with college policy and FERPA.
- Provide advice regarding FERPA to college officials and other stakeholders, as needed.
- Serves as the College’s TAP Certifying Official.
- As needed, act as a DSO for the College in relation to International Students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or three to five years of experience in Records and Registration environment preferred.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Assistant Director of Institutional Effectiveness supports Columbia-Greene’s data-informed decision-making process by conducting advanced research, analysis, and reporting.
