Please arrange to have an official transcript sent to the C-GCC Admissions Office. Official high school transcripts are original or officially certified copies signed and sealed documents that are sent directly from a college, university, or post-secondary school to C-GCC in a sealed envelope.

Students must have their transcripts evaluated and translated into English by an approved evaluation service company (NACES).Information regarding the equivalent educational level obtained in the American educational system (high school, college, etc.).  The cost of this evaluation is incumbent upon the student.   Some examples of an approved evaluation service company are SpanTran (SpanTran Application for Columbia-Greene CC) and WES, but not limited to these only two companies. An official copy of the evaluation must be sent directly to C-GCC from the evaluator/evaluation agency.

2. Submit College or University Transcripts (if applicable)

If you have ever attended another college or university (in ANY country) please arrange to have an official transcript sent to the C-GCC Admissions Office. Official college transcripts are original or officially certified copies signed and sealed documents that are sent directly from a college, university or post-secondary school to C-GCC.

Students must have their transcripts evaluated and translated into English with information regarding the equivalent educational level obtained in the American educational system (high school, college, etc.).  The cost of this evaluation is incumbent upon the student.   An official copy of the evaluation must be sent directly to C-GCC from the evaluator/evaluation agency.

3. Foreign Student Financial Statement

Please complete the SUNY financial statement and also arrange to have original or officially notarized/certified bank statements or income verification documents which show evidence of sufficient financial support ($24,884 US) for one academic year sent to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. Please be aware that the same amount will be needed for the second year of study. Financial Aid and/or scholarships are NOT available to international students.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that you retain a notarized/certified copy of the financial documentation to present to the U.S. Immigration Official at the U.S. Embassy in your country when applying for a student visa.

4. Determining English Proficiency
