In the News: UAlbany, Columbia-Greene Community College to enter dual admission agreement

Columbia-Greene Community College (C-GCC) and the University at Albany have announced a new dual admission agreement that will create a seamless transfer pathway for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. According to the announcement, students can apply for dual admission when enrolling at C-GCC or during their first semester. Upon graduation, participants will be able to transfer into a related program at UAlbany with junior standing, supporting timely degree completion and expanded academic opportunities.

The agreement also includes a formal transfer articulation pathway for nursing students, strengthening opportunities in a high-demand field. This partnership reflects C-GCC’s continued commitment to providing accessible, affordable pathways to four-year degrees while supporting student success beyond graduation.
